The HR/Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for providing support to the HR and Recruiting departments. The HR/Recruiting Coordinator will assist in running the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including overseeing the timely processing of workers’ compensation claims.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides a variety of specialized and analytical duties involved in workers’ compensation claims processing, monitoring, and coordination. Serves as a technical resource to employees and managers concerning workers’ compensation matters for the company. Reviews accident reports to identify patterns of injury and determine whether unsafe conditions contributed to the accident, partnering with HR generalists and the Director of Human Resources. Advises managers on proper procedures in workers’ compensation matters, notices of absence, and notices of return to work in accordance with local regulations and the Workers’ Compensation Act. Maintains confidentiality and complies with all related privacy laws including HIPAA and state privacy regulations. Creates and maintains how-to guides for prospective tasks and projects. Participates in departmental projects and audits as assigned. Collaborate with other departments to develop strategies to mitigate risk and errors in audits performed. Maintains employee personnel records and ensures data accuracy across all systems. Provides reception coverage, duties, and responsibilities when the receptionist is on break or out of office. Provides backup coverage to Human Resources and Recruiting functions/roles as needed. Responds to and completes background checks in a timely and accurate manner. Initiates and monitors state-specific background checks, ensuring full regulatory compliance across all operating states & update rosters. Uploads background documents to employee files, ATS, and HRIS systems. Reviews all Talent Network forms and upload qualified candidates into the Applicant Tracking system and ATS/HRIS systems. Supports candidate pipeline development and passive talent outreach. Executes proactive sourcing strategies for both Retail & Home Health divisions to identify qualified candidates using online platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, Nursing/Therapy Lists, etc.), internal databases, industry events, and professional networks. Conducts final candidate review and vetting prior to initiating onboarding (Corporate Review – ATS/HRIS uploads.) Sends offer letters and tracks acceptance (DocuSign Approvals for Hospice & all other DocuSign offer letters) & upload to ATS/HRIS. Initializes License Look & Upload to ATS/HRIS. Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.Education, Professional License, or Certification Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree is preferred. 1 year of Worker’s Compensation experience or any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience is preferred. 1 year of Human Resources experience and knowledge is preferred.
