HR Analytics ConsultantThe HR Analytics Consultant is responsible for interpreting and exploring business problems using people data. The HR Analytics Consultant plays a pivotal role in the development and fulfillment of complex data requests creating people data sets, aligning these data sets with other enterprise-wide data, and developing a narrative that is comprehensive but easily understood by managers and business partners, driving the value and People Analytics and ensuring consistency in HR data throughout the organization. The design, development, and delivery of complex reporting initiatives and adherence to applicable enterprise data governance policies, standards, and guidelines. Position Responsibilities: People Analytics Workplace Data Administration Serve as the client-facing consultant to HR Directors and Consultants, Managers and Enterprise Business Partners on workforce and workplace data. Serve as the SME on Human Capital and business data to determine the proper strategy for determining and developing an analysis to track results on HR and business initiatives. Stay informed of HR and industry trends and apply the trends to Comerica data through the People Analytics Application. Perform exploratory data analysis, generate and test working hypotheses, and uncover trends and relationships to support workforce planning and new initiatives, such as overall productivity for colleagues in a hybrid work model. Share the results of people analyses to HR Directors and Consultants and impacted Enterprise Business Partners via compelling story-telling narrative. Partner with HR partners and Stakeholders in developing, executing, and evaluating human capital KPIs and other measurement strategies to enable workplace initiative and strategy results. Prepare and present People Analytics training, including how to use the People Analytics application as well as understanding the data to tell a narrative, to HR Directors and Consultants, Managers and Enterprise Business Partners. Contribute to developing Enterprise and Business Unit People Analytic metrics by partnering Business Unit Stakeholders and HR Consultants. Using the results from the People Analytics analyses, identify Workplace trends across the organization and provide process improvements and efficiencies to HR and Stakeholders based on these trends. Understand the needs of the end user of the People Analytics application, advance user acceptance and usage of HR self-service tools, including gathering feedback on what is working and what is not working well or is easily understand by the end user to improve experience. Manage and monitor authorized and privileged access to the People Analytics application. Contribute to enterprise data governance methods and priorities. Data Management and Reporting Extract data from HR systems and provide data on a regular or ad-hoc basis to HR partners, Enterprise Business Partners, and Stakeholder. Collaborate with SMEs, Technology, and other source system partners to develop data requirements to support business rules in a variety of HR systems and assure incoming data is properly formatted and mapped to work within the receiving system. Work with business analysts and other technical experts to develop and configure on-going as well as ad-hoc reporting. Configure and build reports using system specific reporting functionality Independently code, troubleshoot, and debug various databases and reporting tools. Validate and ensure accuracy of data in the system. Project Management Work independently to manage small to medium technical projects including all aspects of project initiation, plan development, and project execution and progress reporting. Partner with vendor on creating and implementing new projects within the People Analytics application within approved change control methodology. Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) During design sessions to ensure design addresses requirement. During testing, ensures the system is working as designed During Implementation to ensure accuracy in execution. Develop and deliver communication and training materials to end users.
Qualifications
Position Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Math, or Computer Science or related field
+ 5 years of Human Resources work experience, including using HCM applications such as ADP, Workday, Oracle, etc.
+ 3 years of experience working with analytics tools, such as Visier, Python, PowerBI, Tableau
+ 3 years of experience working with Relational Databases, report writing and working with database reporting systems, word processing and spreadsheet software experience (i.e., Access and Excel)
+ 3 years of experience writing documentation that describes operating procedures, the ability to write complex formulas and calculations, Data Dictionaries, and training guides on how to use the People Analytics application
+ 2 years of project management experience
