Description We are looking for a detail-oriented HR Admin to join our team on a contract basis in Petersburg, Virginia. This role involves supporting key human resources processes, including employee onboarding and administrative tasks, while ensuring compliance with company and legal standards. Responsibilities: • Coordinate and manage employee onboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions for new hires. • Handle I-9 documentation and compliance to meet legal and organizational requirements. • Process initial paperwork and accurately input employee information into company systems. • Communicate effectively with employees to address inquiries and provide updates during onboarding. • Support administrative functions such as maintaining records and organizing office workflows. • Assist with managing employee intake and resolving onboarding-related issues. • Collaborate with team members to onboard approximately 500 employees efficiently. • Utilize Paylocity software for HR tasks, with training provided on system usage. • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures throughout onboarding processes. • Maintain a high level of organization and accuracy in all HR-related tasks. Requirements • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Proven ability to build positive employee relations. • Familiarity with I-9 compliance processes and regulations. • Experience in performing general office functions. • Previous involvement in onboarding and HR administrative tasks. • Ability to handle high-volume employee intake with attention to detail. • Willingness to learn and adapt to new HR software systems. • Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
