HR Absent Management Analyst (Fixed term)

This position has responsibility for managing the various absence programs at WTW which includes short term disability, long term disability, the Family Medical Leave Act, Paid Family Leave, Mandated Paid Leave, Paid Time Off (PTO) and state/local leave plans.

The Role 
 

Coordinate numerous components of the various absence programs and serve as the contact for the impacted colleague, the disability vendor, and other stakeholder groups  Communicate complex details in an understandable manner to colleagues  Ensure absence programs are administered consistently  Calculation of short term disability payments for payroll processing Respond to any errors in payroll by reviewing past records and making any wage corrections or adjustments when necessary Track employee absences for leaves of absence Evaluate the accuracy of timesheets submitted for leaves of absence/verify timesheet records and consult colleagues about any discrepancies Answer employee questions about payroll and leave entitlements and/or balances Manage the ongoing administration of the PTO program including responding to colleague inquiries providing a high level of customer service orientation  Perform data audits, report results, and follow up actions such as corrective and preventative actions   Work on special projects as required 

The Requirements

Associate degree, or BS/BA in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field 1-3 years of related employee benefits administration experience, familiarity with regulations such as FMLA and state disability plans preferred Advanced computer skills, including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office and Oracle Cloud (the HR system is a plus but not required)Payroll experience a plusWillingness and ability to work independently and on a teamMust be accustomed to a fast paced, high-volume environment with deadlines and last-minute requestsProject management skillsSelf-starter and quick learnerAbility to prioritize requests and dutiesExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written - English language required
