Position Description:

This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our CGI / Client office at a minimum 3 days per week - subject to change at any time. 

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Application Development: Design, code, test, and deploy applications using languages like TAL, COBOL, C/C++, and Java.
• System Integration: Work with Guardian, OSS, Pathway, and Enscribe file systems to integrate applications with system components.
• Database Management: Use NonStop SQL/MX and SQL/MP for database design and optimization.
• Testing & Documentation: Develop unit and integration tests, and contribute to technical documentation and user guides.
• Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot production issues, maintain legacy code, and implement performance improvements.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including QA, infrastructure, and business analysts.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

-    Fundamental knowledge on HPE OS systems and its hardware
-    NonStop Pathway concepts, COBOL, SCOBOL, TAL (good to have)
-    FUP, SCUP,DDL, Enform, Enscribe, SQL/MP, Escort (good to have)
-    TACL scripting, Netbatch
-    Software Configuration Management (SCM) solutions for HPE NonStop servers, such as RMS and Primecode
-    MQ, Guardian utilities
-    BATCHCOM, setting up calendar jobs
-    OSS basics
