Job Title: HP Operator

Job Description

As an HP Operator, you will be responsible for interpreting order specifications and ensuring the proper care and maintenance of all tools, gauges, and equipment used. Your role will include following digital printing operational procedures to meet defined standards, ensuring productivity and quality, and maintaining accurate quality documentation. You will play a crucial role in inventory control, efficient use of raw materials, and conducting autonomous maintenance routines.

Responsibilities

Interpret order specifications, set-ups, and special instructions.Maintain tools, gauges, and equipment, reporting any repair needs.Follow digital printing procedures to ensure timely operational processes.Revise work in process and ensure quality processes meet defined standards.Meet productivity and quality standards for assigned jobs.Accurately fill and maintain quality documentation.Ensure inventory control and follow-up for necessary supplies.Efficiently use raw materials for each job.Complete autonomous maintenance routines and participate in ELS training.Engage in 5S initiatives and assist other areas as required.Support and train team members in problem-solving and department goals.Continuously search for improvement methods to enhance product quality and reduce waste.Follow established safety protocols and personal protective equipment guidelines.

Essential Skills

Experience in production and machine operation.High School Diploma or equivalent.0-2 years of previous experience.Ability to anticipate and troubleshoot problems.Strong interpersonal skills, mathematical aptitude, and logical problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Experience with digital printing, specifically HP 7K/6600 Level 1 and/or 2 Certification preferred.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

HP Certification is a plus.Experience with machines such as IQHD, Sakurai, LasX, Velocity HP6600, 3D printer, CAD, and CNC.Certification in hazardous materials training is a plus.Pre-press knowledge.Ability to use computers and electronic mail.
