We’re looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to deliver a welcoming, organized, and confidence-building onboarding experience for newly hired associates. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping each new hire’s first impression of the organization, setting the tone for long-term success. You’ll bring a strong sense of ownership and a genuine commitment to ensuring new team members feel prepared, supported, and ready to represent the brand in-store. Working closely with recruiting, field leadership, and internal partners, you’ll help ensure onboarding runs smoothly, communication stays consistent, and new hires transition into the field with clarity and confidence.

Facilitate engaging virtual onboarding and welcome sessions that set clear expectations and build confidence for new hires entering the fieldMaintain proactive communication with new hires before and after their initial visits, ensuring they feel supported and connected during their first weeks in the roleConduct structured early engagement conversations to understand how new hires are adjusting and identify opportunities to strengthen their readinessPartner with recruiting and field leadership to coordinate onboarding activities and ensure new hires are fully prepared to begin their assignmentsMonitor onboarding progress and follow through on required training and onboarding milestones with attention to detail and accountabilityDemonstrate a strong sense of ownership for the new hire experience by addressing questions promptly and resolving issues before they become barriers to successBuild positive relationships with new hires, field leadership, and internal partners to create a consistent and supportive onboarding environmentSupport onboarding coverage across assigned cohorts while remaining flexible to meet changing program needs and hiring volumeMaintain accurate documentation of onboarding interactions and engagement outcomes in designated systemsContribute ideas and feedback to continuously improve onboarding processes and strengthen the overall new hire experienceCreate engaging, polished, professional content for new-hire learning libraryPerform other duties as assignedPerformance Measurements
Timely completion of onboarding sessions and early engagement touchpointsNew hire participation, responsiveness, and overall engagement during onboardingRetention trends within the first 30 days of employmentAccuracy and reliability of onboarding documentation and communicationPositive feedback from new hires and field leadership regarding onboarding supportConsistent execution of onboarding standards across assigned cohortsQualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required2–4 years of experience in onboarding, training coordination, customer support, retail operations, or a related fieldDemonstrated passion for helping others succeed and creating a positive onboarding experienceProven ability to build relationships quickly and communicate effectively with diverse audiencesStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated and dependable, with a strong sense of accountability and follow-throughComfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining strong collaboration with team members and leadershipWhat You Can Expect From 2020 Companies
