HP Indigo Label and Packaging Sales Manager - Korea

Position Overview

The HP Indigo Label & Package Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth of HP Indigo digital press solutions and related services in the Label & Packaging market. This role focuses on developing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and strengthening HP’s market presence through strategic engagement with converters, packaging manufacturers, and industry partners.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Business Development

Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Label & Packaging segment to achieve annual revenue and margin targets.Identify new market opportunities (labels, flexible packaging, folding cartons, shrink sleeves, etc.) and generate a robust sales pipeline.Conduct market intelligence on competitors, pricing trends, emerging applications, and customer investment patterns.

2. Customer Engagement & Account Management

Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closing for Indigo hardware, supplies, service contracts, and workflow solutions.Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including CEOs, production directors, and operations managers of label/packaging converters.Provide consultative selling by understanding customer needs, production workflows, and operational bottlenecks.

3. Channel Partner Collaboration

Work closely with local channel partners and distributors to support sales execution, forecasting, and market coverage.Train and enable partners on Indigo value proposition, competitive differentiators, and product roadmap.Monitor partner performance and ensure alignment with HP policies and pricing guidelines.

4. Solution Selling & Technical Coordination

Present HP Indigo’s value proposition, ROI analysis, productivity benefits, and application capabilities to customers.Coordinate with Pre‑Sales, Service, and Application Specialists to deliver demonstrations, samples, TCO analysis, and production audits.Guide customers through the investment decision process and ensure a smooth installation and onboarding experience.

5. Marketing & Go-to-Market Execution

Support marketing events, open houses, trade shows, customer workshops, and application seminars.Develop customer success stories and leverage them to promote digital transformation in the label and packaging industry.Collaborate with regional and global teams to align messaging, promotions, and segment-specific campaigns.

6. Forecasting & Reporting

Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and account plans using CRM tools.Analyze quarterly business results and identify actions to improve win rates and customer satisfaction.Report market feedback and customer insights to product management and regional business leads.

Qualifications

Required

5+ years of B2B industrial sales experience, ideally in printing, packaging, machinery, or related manufacturing sectors.Strong understanding of label and packaging production processes, converting technologies, and workflow systems.Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex, long-cycle deals.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Preferred

Experience with digital printing solutions, industrial presses, or packaging automation.Knowledge of HP Indigo technology, substrates, color management, and applications.Ability to conduct ROI/TCO analysis and explain technology-driven business transformation.English proficiency for communication with regional/global teams.

Achieving hardware revenue, supplies growth, and service attach rate targets.Expanding HP Indigo footprint within key label and packaging converters.Identifying and closing strategic wins that displace analog printing or competitors.Creating measurable customer value through digital transformation programs.
