Education  This position requires a minimum of an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.   Skills and Abilities Operating manual and CNC lathes, mills, and other shop equipment. Working to close dimensions/tolerances (+/- .001 and better). Finishing and hand-working parts to tight tolerances and high surface finishes. Self-starter requiring a minimum amount of supervision. Good ability to work with others and a genuine interest in being part of a team.

 

Experience

This position requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience

Resolves technical issues within the tool room. Designs Wax/Finishing fixture tooling. Assists Engineering on tool construction. Manually Programs and basic setup CNC machines. Supports manufacturing in CNC area. Writes NC code to run on CNC machines.  Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment. Performs other duties, as assigned.
