Houseperson/Lobby Attendant - Hilton Portland Downtown

The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas of the hotel, responding promptly to guest requests, and supporting the hotel’s ongoing commitment to delivering exceptional guest service. A minimum of 6 months to 1 year of previous hotel housekeeping experience is required, along with the ability to work a flexible schedule that includes nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays.

 

Shift Pattern: Full-Time (subject to occupancy & seniority)

Shifts: Vary and include AM, PM, and overnight hours; availability on weekends and holidays is required.

Hourly Range: $22.45 per hour 

 


What will I be doing?

 

As a Houseperson, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, offices and banquet/meeting/conference roomsPerform tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtraysGreet guests in a friendly mannerReport maintenance deficiencies and items in need of repairStock and maintain supply rooms, as neededPerform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example: mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.), as neededDeliver guest requests and assist in cleaning guest rooms, as needed
