About the Role

We are looking for a full-time Housekeeping Team Leader to become part of our Housekeeping team at Hilton Auckland. You will support the Housekeeping Department by ensuring the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire hotel to deliver an excellent stay experience for all our guests. This is a physical role for someone who enjoys hardworking, has an eye for detail, a positive attitude and the ability to lead teams.

What will I be doing?

This role involves:

Allocate work duties to Team MembersPerform routine inspections of all check out rooms and spot checks of all occupied roomsReport and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issuesInspect, routinely, service areas, storerooms and corridorsSchedule and supervise deep cleaning and any other projectsManage and train Room Attendants and other Team Members to ensure their performance is to the standards requiredManage, efficiently, stock control and the maintenance of equipmentProvide excellent Guest service, including VIP and other special requirementsEnsure the adherence to hotel brand standards at all times

What are we looking for?

1+ year experience as a Housekeeping Team Lead or Self Checker in a 5-star hotel environmentProficiency with computers, Excel, Word, ONQExperience with allocationsKnowledge of chemicals and ability to train team member on their product knowledgeA friendly and outgoing personality with a proactive, \"can do\" approachWell organised and attention to detailPhysically fit to perform the roleFlexible availability with working in weekends and during holidays
