Job description Make sure that the daily plan identified for him/her and the personnel is carried out according to the standards. Handle all work procedures in all rooms and distribute all tasks between floor supervisors. Contact the fumigation team when support is needed. Ensure that all vacuuming, washing, polishing, and furniture care is carried out professionally and according to the rules. Train all public area personnel on how to maintain the equipment and devices. Prepare and ensure implementation of a cleaning plan. Monitor and check the sections and items that need maintenance and repairs. Make sure that the storage and cleaning work is carried out successfully and properly. Make sure that the chemicals are used properly and economically. At the same time, ensure that personnel use these chemicals in a safe manner without harming human health. Keep track of the daily breakdowns and maintenance jobs, report and monitor the situation to the respective sections. Check whether the maintenance and cleaning of the public toilets comply with the standards. Immediately hand over any lost and found items to the Housekeeping Office. When necessary, organize trainings in coordination with the Housekeeper and ensure participation. Be familiar with the fire and safety rules and instruct colleagues accordingly. Ensure successful and complete coordination between shifts. Work in coordination with the Food and Beverage Department to ensure that the banquets in the units are delivered in an organized and systematic manner. Play an active role in day-to-day operations. Ensure that his/her and personnel uniforms and appearance are always clean and hygienic. Attend other departmental meetings and trainings and the Hotel Manager's meetings according to the hotel management calendar. Take part in the Emergency Response Team. Predict that all activities and purchased equipment and belongings may create disease for the environment; join all activities organized to protect biological diversity and share responsibilities. Share individual responsibilities to increase environmental knowledge and carry out necessary trainings. Provide minimum consumption of currently used items and equipment (paper, printouts, etc.). Implement necessary warnings and departmental trainings to save energy inside the facility. Carry on implementing decisions taken for saving energy. Predict effects of environment and energy efficiency on purchased equipment. Implement responsibilities to eliminate and collect waste properly, reduce environmental pollution and harmful effects to the environment, and lead staff accordingly. Provide safe carrying, storing, and use of chemicals in accordance with laws, controlling and reducing chemical pollution. Carry out all responsibilities related to the quality management systems implemented at the facilities. Carry out all other duties assigned by managers and hotel management not specified in the job description. Qualifications Education: At least a high school or vocational diploma. Experience: At least 6 years of experience in the industry. Foreign language: At least one foreign language to communicate with guests and/or understand the technical terminology of the devices and equipment and use them accordingly. Courses and training: Prior attendance in courses and seminars in the related field. Computer literacy: MS Office applications and housekeeping package programs. Skills: Expected to have sufficient knowledge and experience concerning the methods, techniques, and work processes in the related field. Familiar with guest profiles based on experience. Instructs colleagues that are less experienced on how to address guests. Additional information
