Summary: The Housekeeping & Support Lead II position assists with the day-to-day operations of housekeeping and laundry services at Trident facilities. This position must be able to work independently and lead subordinate housekeeping staff; in some locations, this position supervises entry level housekeeping staff while performing the same responsibilities.
Note: Housekeeping Lead II residing in Trident housing will be subject to a co-pay of fifteen dollars per day for room and board, for each day that at least 8 hours of work is offered.

Assists in training of new housekeeping support staff. Responsible for basic housekeeping duties such as cleaning and stocking bathrooms and other common areas.Assists in laundering employee clothing and work attire.Replenishes bathroom supplies and replaces light bulbs.Cleans storage rooms, bathrooms, offices, corridors, lounging areas, and stairways.Empties and cleans wastebins, outdoor ashtrays and transports trash and waste to disposal areas.Cleans dryer lint traps after each load of laundry.Sweeps and mops floors.Waxes and polishes floors as needed.Notifies leads of equipment malfunctions.Assists in preparing housing facilities and rooms prior to crew arrival.Assist in inspection and cleaning bunkhouse rooms. May assist in assignment of rooms for arriving crews. In some locations, this position may support most responsibilities of the Housekeeping Foreperson in their absence. Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions.Notifies designated personnel of any environmental and safety incidents, or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and or Safety training.Employees working in Alaska are advised to have medical insurance coverage which is valid in the State of Alaska.
