Principal Accountabilities 

Performs routine cleaning of employee restrooms, offices, Stairways, Cafeteria, and hallways in a clean, neat, and sanitary mannerCompletes work assignments in a timely mannerUtilizes the appropriate chemicals and supplies according to procedureUses and maintains equipment properlyReports safety hazards as appropriateTransports trash and hazardous waste to appropriate disposal areaFollows all infection control practices including hand washing techniques, Standard Precautions, and isolation precautionsMaintains set quality standards when performing job dutiesWorks shifts as assigned and Ability to do work on his/her own with normal supervisionThe ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructionsAbility to read and understand equipment operation manualCleans and maintains carpet and tiled floors by using heavy equipment (scrubber) to cleanCooperate with other personnel to achieve departmental objectives, maintain good employee relations and interdepartmentalThe position job tasks would also include occasional cleaning of trash/garbage from parking lot and around the buildingProper use of PPE (steel toe shoes, hardhat when going through operation) and handling Chemicals or cleaning solutionAdhering and awareness of Cargill Policy, and information in the Employee Handbook including Good Manufacturing PracticesOther tasks---as may be designated within reason by supervisor or manager

Required Qualifications 

Ability to communicate effectively in EnglishKnowledge of environmental cleaning
