Housekeeping Floor Supervisor - Hilton Aruba Caribbean Resort & Casino

Support the housekeeping team to deliver spotless, safe, and welcoming guest rooms by upholding Hilton brand standards, ensuring timely service, and fostering a culture of care and accountability.

What will I be doing?
As a Floor Supervisor, you oversee daily housekeeping operations on assigned floors to guarantee that every guest room and area meets Hilton standards. You assign and monitor Room Attendant tasks, inspect rooms for quality and readiness, and support your team with training, feedback, and guidance. By anticipating guest needs, resolving issues promptly, and collaborating with other departments, you help create a consistent and memorable guest experience.

Team Oversight & Assignments

·        Verify staff attendance, coordinate breaks, and prepare daily assignment sheets.

·        Assign room keys and maintain accurate key control and security records.

·        Prioritize and update status of check-out and vacant rooms in HotSOS or equivalent system.

·        Support scheduling, staffing adjustments, and workload balance as needed.

      Inspections & Quality Assurance

·        Inspect guest rooms and corridors using Hilton checklists; ensure all standards are met.

·        Directly communicate deficiencies to Room Attendants and ensure corrections.

·        Monitor DND rooms to verify accurate status.

·        Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all assigned areas.

 Guest & Service Focus

·        Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to service requests or complaints.

·        Provide warm greetings when interacting with guests, offering assistance as needed.

·        Escalate unresolved guest issues to the Manager or Director of Housekeeping.

Training & Coaching

·        Conduct new hire orientations and on-the-job training for Room Attendants.

·        Provide continuous feedback to improve quality, timeliness, and service standards.

·        Reinforce Hilton service values guidelines in daily interactions.

Safety & Equipment

·        Ensure correct use, care, and maintenance of housekeeping equipment.

·        Verify personal protective equipment (PPE) use and compliance with chemical handling and SDS guidelines.

·        Report and follow up on maintenance needs in guest rooms and corridors.

Inventory & Supplies

·        Monitor par levels of linen, terry, and amenities on assigned floors.

·        Ensure closets remain clean, organized, and adequately stocked.

·        Report shortages or request replenishment through the Supervisor or Housekeeping Office.
