Job DescriptionThe role of Housekeeping Attendant/Laundryman is critical to maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction in our establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Maintain impeccable cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and corridors, adhering to stringent quality standardsDeliver exceptional customer service, addressing guest requests with utmost professionalism and efficiencyExecute the collection, sorting, and processing of guest laundry and hotel linens with meticulous attention to detailOperate sophisticated industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines, with precision and careImplement various cleaning methodologies, including dry cleaning, wet cleaning, and steam pressing, as dictated by fabric requirementsConduct thorough pre-treatment of stains, perform rigorous inspections for damage, and uphold strict quality control measuresExecute precise folding, packaging, and timely delivery of laundered itemsDiligently manage laundry supplies inventory and promptly report any deficienciesStrictly adhere to the hotel's luxury standards and prescribed turnaround times for all servicesActively contribute to the maintenance of a safe and orderly environment for both guests and staff membersEnsure consistent replenishment of guest room amenities, including toiletries, towels, and linensParticipate in comprehensive deep cleaning tasks, such as carpet shampooing and window washing, as scheduledFoster effective interdepartmental collaboration to guarantee seamless guest experiencesEngage in mandatory training sessions to remain current with industry best practices and emerging technologiesImplement and promote environmentally responsible practices in all cleaning and laundry processesQualificationsThe successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:
Minimum of 5 O'levels or equivalent educational attainment, demonstrating a solid academic foundation.Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in a professional environment.Demonstrated ability to rigorously adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for room cleaning and laundry handling, ensuring consistent quality of service.Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and colleagues in a professional manner.Robust physical stamina and the willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the demands of the hospitality industry.Comprehensive understanding and strict adherence to health and safety standards relevant to the housekeeping and laundry operations.A minimum of 2–3 years of verifiable experience in a housekeeping role, preferably within a reputable hotel or lodge setting, showcasing a proven track record of excellence in the field.Candidates who meet these stringent criteria and are prepared to uphold the highest standards of our establishment are encouraged to apply.
