This is a full-time on-site position for a Housekeeping Assistant Manager. The role supports the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Responsibilities include overseeing cleaning schedules, quality control, team supervision, and interdepartmental coordination. This position requires a strong eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for hospitality excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support daily housekeeping operations including guest rooms and public areasLead and train housekeeping staff, manage schedules and performanceConduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and maintenance meet brand standardsRespond to guest requests and complaints promptly and professionallyCoordinate with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless serviceMonitor inventory levels and place orders for linens, amenities, and cleaning suppliesMaintain records, reports, and housekeeping logsEnsure compliance with Park Hyatt’s hygiene and service standardsAssist the Housekeeping Manager and support team administration and operations

Qualifications:

Proven experience in housekeeping or facility operations in a hotel or similar environmentStrong attention to cleanliness, quality, and detailExperience in supervising and training a teamExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrior experience in hospitality is a plusAbility to manage time and priorities in a fast-paced settingProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)Fluency in Japanese and English (bilingual skills are highly valued)
