We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping team in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization within our facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and housekeeping management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence. This role is essential in ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet established standards. Manage and train housekeeping staff, providing guidance on best practices for cleaning techniques and safety protocols. Develop cleaning schedules and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and coverage throughout the facility. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards. Implement inventory control measures for cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained. Address guest inquiries or concerns related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate special requests or events requiring additional housekeeping support. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in floor care, industrial cleaning, and custodial services.

Experience

Proven experience in housekeeping management within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment used in hotel or industrial cleaning environments. Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and guests. Familiarity with custodial practices and safety regulations within the hospitality sector.
