Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian, offers 24- hour emergency care, the Sleep Disorders Center and a variety of outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. Our Housekeeping Department consists of Housekeepers professionally trained to take exceptional care of people by ensuring a clean and safe environment. The Housekeeping Department procedures are the 8¿step cleaning process. They are as follows; High dusting, empty trash, sanitize, spot clean, clean bathroom, dust mop floor, inspect room, damp mop floor. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for daily housekeeping services as assigned, using procedures as outlined by the hospital or service organization. During the absence of the supervisor, assumes those responsibilities in addition to regular assignments. Responsibilities Performs discharge cleaning process in inpatient rooms and prepares room for next admission. Performs routine cleaning activities in inpatient, public and common areas using prescribed, established cleaning process. Assumes supervisor responsibilities in the absence of supervisor. Keeps equipment clean and functional according to procedure and reports defects to supervisor. Minimum Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED Experience
