Job Summary:

A highly professional and detail-oriented Housekeeper is required to manage the daily upkeep and presentation of a penthouse residence in Central London. This is a long-term role for someone with experience in high-spec private homes who takes pride in maintaining immaculate standards and enjoys creating a well-organised, welcoming environment.

The property consists of a newly refurbished penthouse and adjoining apartment, with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, and a wrap-around terrace. You will be responsible for ensuring the entire home remains clean, hygienic, and ready for occasional visits from the principals.

The role includes a mix of routine cleaning, deep cleaning, laundry and wardrobe care, and occasional service duties when the family is in residence. While the family are only in London for short stays, the standard of cleanliness and preparation must be maintained year-round.

Job specification:

Full-time, permanent position: Monday to Friday, 9:00am-6:00 pm Daily cleaning and upkeep of all living areas (vacuuming, dusting, mopping, tidying) Weekly deep cleaning (behind furniture, windows, detailed areas) Laundry and ironing (clothing and bed linens), including regular bed changes Daily kitchen cleaning and hygiene maintenance Bathroom cleaning and sanitising daily When family is in residence: Unpacking luggage and assisting with personal organisation Setting/clearing dinner tables Ensuring the home is fully prepared, organised, and comfortable

 

Candidate specification:

Professional, self-motivated, and highly organised Physically active and energetic – happy to be on their feet throughout the day Fluent in English, with excellent communication and comprehension skills Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a UHNW household High attention to detail and commitment to discretion, privacy, and professionalism Strong laundry and wardrobe care skills Confident working independently and proactively without constant supervision Flexible, reliable, and solution-focused
