Role Summary:
The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and assigned areas in accordance with Hilton and Embassy Suites standards. This role supports daily hotel operations by ensuring rooms are clean, well-stocked, and guest-ready while responding to guest needs in a courteous and timely manner.
Room Attendants work independently and as part of a team to deliver consistent quality, efficiency, and hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room Cleaning & PresentationClean and service guest rooms as assigned, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting, and vacuumingEnsure all rooms are presented to brand standards with attention to detail and consistencyPerform deep cleaning tasks as assigned to maintain overall room qualityConduct room inspections during service to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and appearanceLinen, Amenities & Supplies
Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities as neededStock, organize, and transport housekeeping supply cart dailyMonitor inventory levels and report supply needs to leadershipCleanliness & Safety
Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with hotel proceduresFollow all safety, sanitation, and security standards while performing cleaning dutiesReport maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged items promptlyGuest Service & Support
Respond to special guest requests in a friendly, timely, and professional mannerPerform guest turndown service as assignedRespect guest privacy and confidentiality at all timesQualifications
High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious housekeeping or hotel cleaning experience preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail and time-management skillsAbility to work independently while maintaining productivity standardsCommitment to providing excellent guest serviceAbility to stand, walk, bend, lift, and push housekeeping carts throughout the shiftFlexible availability including weekends and holidaysPreferred Experience
