Summary:

The House Supervisor functions as the Administrator for all hospital departments after hours. Coordinates the interdepartmental activities of hospital associates through the interpretation of hospital standards. Functions as the extension of an on-site representative for Administration and Department Directors. Acts as liaison between Departments, Hospital Administration and staff.

Qualifications

Education:

•    Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
•    Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree (must be obtained 18 months from hire date)
 

Experience:

•    2 years clinical RN experience
•    1 year management experience

License/Certifications:

•    Texas or compact state license required
•    Current BLS for health care providers
•    ACLS and PALS within 6 months upon hire
