Shift: 10pm-7:30am (overnight shift) Job Summary: Performs any combination of duties to maintain order, sanitation, and cleanliness in facilities. Maintain Supplies as needed- Overnight Floor Tech. Job Responsibilities: + Floor Maintenance - Perform comprehensive cleaning and maintenance of vinyl, tile, and carpeted flooring, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, waxing, and stripping as required to maintain hygiene and appearance standards. + Equipment Operations - Safely operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and carper cleaners, ensuring equipment remains in proper working condition. + Infection Control - Adhere to strict infection control protocols by utilizing approved cleaning chemicals and methods to reduce contamination risks to patients and staff. + Inspection and Reporting - routinely inspect floors for damage or excessive wear, report maintenance concerns to supervision, and perform minor repairs when appropriate. + Safety Compliance - Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of cleaning chemicals. + Documentation - Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities and ensure compliance with hospital cleanliness, safety, and regulatory policies. Preferred Qualifications: + Previous experience in housekeeping or floor maintenance + Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting equipment, repetitive movement, and prolonged standing. + Strong attention to detail to maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety + Working knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment. + Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff and respond to cleaning-related needs.
