Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of a local industrial facility in the High Point area. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who takes pride in creating a clean and safe environment for all personnel. This is a consistent, early evening position perfect for someone looking for stable, part-time work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform general sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming of floors in designated areas, including offices, break rooms, and restrooms.
Dust furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces.
Clean and sanitize all restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and fixtures.
Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, light switches, and countertops.
Restock supplies in restrooms and break rooms (e.g., paper towels, toilet paper, soap).
Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables from all areas.
Follow all health and safety regulations.
Notify management of any occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds for the duration of the shift.
Must have reliable transportation.
