Job Description
Rosewood Rome is currently casting for a Hotel Manager for its pre-opening, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel to ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient staff performance, and profitability, reporting directly to the Managing Director of the property. This role has the goal of guaranteeing that the hotel daily activities are run smoothly, while also ensuring compliance with company standards and local regulations, working alongside the Managing Director and the ExCom Team.
Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage hotel operations to achieve business goals and guest satisfaction;Develop and implement strategies to improve service quality and operational efficiency;Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control;Recruit, train, and supervise department heads and staff;Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal standards;Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally;Maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and local authorities;Prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders.Promote the hotel through marketing initiatives and community engagement.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field;Proven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a senior hospitality role;Strong understanding of hotel management software and systems;Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills;Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and reporting;Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks;Italian language is a must!Only those who have a valid Italian (EU) work permit will be considered for the position.Working Conditions:Flexible schedule including weekends and public holidays;
High-touch, guest-facing environment;
Occasional travel for training, local benchmarking, or Rosewood global events.
