Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Manager to join our team in Livingstone, Zambia. As the Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and driving business growth in this vibrant tourist destination.

Lead and inspire a diverse team of hospitality professionals across all departmentsOversee daily operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance all other departmentsDevelop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitabilityEnsure the highest standards of customer service and guest satisfactionManage budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control measuresCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute promotional initiativesMaintain compliance with local regulations and industry standardsFoster relationships with key stakeholders, including guests, staff, and local community partnersContinuously analyze market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edgeImplement and oversee staff training programs to enhance skills and service qualityManage inventory and procurement processes to optimize operational efficiencyHandle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally

QualificationsProven experience as a Hotel Manager or in a similar senior hospitality roleStrong leadership and team management skillsIn-depth knowledge of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping, and food and beverage servicesExcellent financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and revenue managementOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environmentProficiency in hotel management software and property management systemsKnowledge of local hospitality industry trends Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred)Fluency in EnglishFlexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidaysPassion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving customer satisfaction
