\nPerfectly positioned in tropical North Queensland’s glamourous beach village, this newly converted and refurbished Hilton Hotel will boast 140 rooms, 300 sqm of on-site meeting space, an all-day dining restaurant, a café, 2 bars, 4 spa rooms and of course our famous Hilton service culture. We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Manager to open this new product in Palm Cove.

Reporting into the Cluster General Manager, Cairns, as Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for Managing the day-to-day hotel operations whilst keeping up with all corporate and brand standards. You will also be responsible for maximising performance and profitability, as well as guest and team member satisfaction. You will communicate with Hotel owners and the Regional Corporate office as required, to develop and execute strategic management of the Hotel in line with Company goals.

Duties & Responsibilities
\n\nManage day to day operations of the Hotel in line with budgets set for the maximisation of profit.\nManage and coordinate the implementation of all Global goals, projects, policies and events.\nFacilitate strategic planning for the hotel ensuring standards, productivity and service are continuously improving.\nMaintain good relations with hotel stakeholders, ensuring timely reporting, payment of dues and access to records when required in accordance with policy.\nRemain informed in relation to legislation which can affect the legal status of the operations and/or it’s team members.\nTake responsibility for workplace health and safety and ensure as reasonably practicable, that the health and safety of all team members any other persons at the Hotel are not put at risk.\nEnsure all Global Hilton Policies and Procedures are implemented, and hotel procedures are developed in line with these policies. \nLead with our Hilton culture, encouraging team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences, and exceed customer expectations.\nMaintain knowledge of changing global Hospitality trends and actively participate in the Management of Food and Beverage outlets, in conjunction with the hotel leadership team.\n\nSkills and Experience
\n\nPrevious Hotel Management experience with thorough knowledge of the Australian market, preferably North Queensland.\nDemonstrated positive owner relations.\nA substantial successful track record in hotel operations.\nAbility to show strong commercial outcomes in a competitive environment.\nExperience launching a successful brand into market.\nAbility to deliver a quality product in line with brand standards.\n\nPersonal Attributes:
