This position will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. A Lead E will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems. Ability to read blue prints and schematics is preferred, along with basic trouble-shooting skills. A minimum of two years building maintenance experience is required with hotel experience preferred. Good communication skills are necessary. A General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible primarily for maintaining the building and equipment. This does include general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. Guest room and public area entry-level preventative maintenance are included. A General Maintenance Engineer will also perform some repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, HVAC systems, and laundry equipment, requiring some skills and experience in these areas. A minimum of two years building maintenance experience is required with hotel experience preferred.
