Job Description:
The Dual Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the two hotels to include direct supervision of at least two departments and performing as manager on duty over the properties in absence of the General Manager and or Assistant General Manager. The successful candidate will maintain hotel operations by attracting and serving guests, while ensuring the physical property is meticulously maintained and the financial goals are met.
Essential Job Functions:
Hands-on position involves every aspect of sales, property management, operations, and customer services.Sales and service drives our business and you will lead the Operations teamYou will be both a problem solver and a problem identifier.Manage reservations, collections and all front desk and breakfast operations.Answer guests complaints and resolve problems to maintain Guest Satisfaction.Handle and resolve employee issues.Recruit, Organize and Manage work team.Order supplies and equipment as needed.Contribute to the development of hotel budgets, review staffing schedules, and review employee timecards.Human Resource Management
Manages human resources functions including recruiting, selection, orientation, training, performance planning and evaluation and pay/reward programs to maintain a skilled, qualified workforce.Maintains a positive, cooperative work environment between staff and management.Emphasizes training and development as a way of doing business to empower employees to provide excellent guest service. Ensures personnel files are accurate and comply with both local and federal laws and regulations. Administers personnel policies fairly and consistently.Resolves employee grievances in a fair and timely way.Ensures employees know responsibilities and manage against those responsibilities.Ensures employees know policies, pay procedures, bonus plans and benefits.Helps to develop management talent by acting as a mentor for direct reports.Uses ongoing safety training to minimize worker’s compensation claims.Monitors and maintains acceptable turnover levels.Profit Management
Assists in annual budget preparation.Anticipates revenue/cost problems in department.Tracks financial and operating information on ongoing basis to adjust plans, labor, and other costs.Safety and Security
Recognizes and corrects conditions which may create security, fire, or accident hazards.Understands and implements hotel’s key control system.Reasonable accommodations may be made so qualified individuals with disabilities can perform the essential duties of the position.

Work Experience
Education and Experience:
· College Degree is strongly preferred.
· 3 years of hotel operations leadership experience with 1 or more as a manager is preferred.
· Experience at intermediate or better level using computers for recordkeeping, scheduling, and information finding.
Physical Requirements:
· This position requires bending, lifting and the ability to be continuously mobile throughout the shift.
· Regularly lift up to 25 pounds.
Working Conditions:
· Exposure to mild cleaning chemicals is normal.
· Moderate noise level associated with using vacuum cleaners, laundry equipment, floor scrubbers, and other housekeeping equipment.
· The majority of the work is performed inside the hotel.
· Handle multiple priorities, work under stress and exercise good judgment when dealing with guest situations and complaints.
