**About the role**
+ Our Infrastructure team is integrated in the Digital Technology (DT) department.
+ As a Hosting Engineer, you will ensure the robustness, scalability, and efficiency of the organization’s hosting infrastructure by designing, managing, and optimizing hosting environments across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid platforms.
+ You will be accountable for:
+ Managing and maintaining secured hosting platforms to ensure high availability and reliability.
+ Implementing and managing solutions for cloud and on-premise hosting environments.
+ Monitoring hosting infrastructure performance and addressing potential bottlenecks or issues.
+ Collaborating with IT teams to deploy and optimize workloads in hosted environments.
+ Ensuring security and compliance standards are met across all hosting services (ISO 9001, 27001, NIS2).
+ Supporting hosting migrations, upgrades, and system integrations.
+ Troubleshooting and resolving technical hosting-related issues to minimize downtime.
+ Documenting hosting configurations and processes for future reference and support.
+ Collaborating within the DT organization (e.g., Digital Enablement and Development and Data Factory) to identify and provision secure and reliable hosting.
+ Staying informed on emerging hosting technologies and recommending improvements.
+ We offer a permanent contract based on a hybrid working mode.
**About you**
+ Relevant education degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable field.
+ Relevant work experience in Hosting Services or IT Infrastructure Management.
+ Competencies:
+ Expert in designing, deploying, and managing hosting solutions, including on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, to ensure scalability and reliability.
+ Experience in all aspects of the Move to Cloud life cycle for Azure solutions, including planning, requirements, coordination, testing, and technical quality assurance.
+ Deep knowledge of server virtualization technologies, such as VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM, to optimize resource utilization and performance.
+ Extensive expertise in configuring and maintaining hosting platforms, including Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
+ Expert at managing people and efficiently planning the team’s resources.
+ Advanced proficiency in monitoring and troubleshooting hosting environments using tools like Nagios, SolarWinds, or Zabbix, or Cloud native tools to ensure high availability.
+ Experienced in defining governance and assuring quality for all Hosting operations, as well as managing contracts and stakeholders.
+ Proficient in automating deployment and configuration processes using scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Azure Biceps.

**About the pay and benefits**
+ Attractive and equitable pay for all: compensation is determined within a range to foster your development in the role. While the primary country (Portugal) base pay reasonably expected for this role is 35 600 euros to 48 700 euros, your salary may ultimately be higher or lower based on your skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a competitive total rewards package that includes a bonus and/or other incentives.
