In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the overall F&B operation, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction, smooth service flow, strong team performance, and positive business results.

Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tablesManage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow for optimal serviceProvide accurate information about menus, service times and dining optionsCoordinate closely with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operationsMaintain a clean, organised, and welcoming dining environmentHandle guest concerns professionally and promptlySupport F&B supervisors in service preparation and guest communicationUphold high grooming, hygiene and hospitality standards at all times

Qualifications

 

Relevant Diploma/Certificate in Hospitality Management or related fieldMinimum of 1-2 years' previous experience in Food & Beverage/Restaurant operationFull grade 12 certificateKeen eye for detail to achieve operational excellenceExcellent guest service skills with a warm and welcoming demeanourFluent English skills, both verbal and writtenStrong ability to multi task and prioritise in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in restaurant reservation systems and point-of-sale (POS) softwareExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysStrong problem-solving skills and ability to handle guest complaints professionally
