Job Description Responsible for doing all preparations for the service, like preparing table planning and menus. Ensure all menus are clean and ready for operation on floors. Any specific menus (buffet, brunch, promotions, etc.) have been printed and are ready for use. Make sure to work with clean equipment and surfaces. Ensure that Micros is correctly set up according to the meal period. Be fully aware of the promotions and discounts. Ensure daily emails and Serveme reservation have been checked. Always be enthusiastic and deliver great service to all guests; be the first contact for the guests and always be aware of this when answering phone calls or speaking with guests directly. Prepare the table plans according to reservation sheets. Keep an eye on guests when they move or something changes and communicate this with waiting staff and kitchen. Take orders and provide information to guests if required, clearly communicating this to colleagues. Record guest preferences and enter them in the guest history folio. Communicate with the chef or kitchen for any special requests, dietary requirements, or restrictions from guests. During the service, the hostess should be able to deal with challenges, changes, and keep an eye on table turnovers. If necessary, prepare orders like drinks and snacks, bread. Responsible for cleaning tasks during and after service. Attend departmental meetings if required. Check with managers or coordinators for any large party reservations. Ensure package forecasts for HB, BB, and FB are printed every day. Wish farewell to all guests, encouraging repeat customers. Desired Skill & Expertise Fun and outgoing personality; female hostess experience essential. Receive and seat guests and maintain good communication with the waiting staff and kitchen about the guests. Maintain great customer service to all guests. Previous customer service experience required. Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations. Excellent reading, written, and oral proficiency in English.
