**Your Day To Day**
+ Ensure the restaurant is ready to receive guests prior to opening and that both wait staff and tables are ready in line with opening standards
+ Ensure restaurant operating equipment is clean and in working order
+ Tell your supervisor or duty manager about any unsafe equipment, low supplies or safety incidents
+ Escort guests to their preferred table or reserved table and seat guests according to restaurant standards
+ Be cleaner than clean – meet or exceed local cleanliness and hygiene laws.
+ Inquiring if they have a reservation and noting it in the reservation book if they do
+ Creating a reservation for them with their dining preferences if they do not and noting it in the reservation book
+ Give guests a better experience by helping with any queries or advice
+ Wear your uniform with pride and grooming as per hotel standard
+ Maintain detailed knowledge of menu, including daily specials and ensure food tags are complete & according to the food displayed.
+ Take on other ad-hoc duties when the whole team needs to pull together
+ Responsible to update the E-Log after every shift on daily basis.
+ To operate the POS and ensure the cashiering are accordance to Finance compliance.
**What We Need From You**
+ Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
+ Literate – you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths
+ Articulate – a great communicator, you’ll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
+ Compliant – as well as meeting local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, you’ll be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language
+ Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit or valid health/food handler card as required by local government agency
