Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is coming to Schaumburg, IL in early 2026 and we are now hiring our Management team for our New Store Opening!   Operations Manager Reports to: General Manager/Assistant General Managers POSITION OVERVIEW Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an energetic and experienced Operations Manager. This hands-on, fast-paced role will oversee a department (Arcade, F&B, Events, or The Starting Line).  You will be responsible for driving service excellence, leading a dynamic team, managing daily operations, and ensuring a safe, clean, and memorable guest experience across the venue.   Andretti Indoor Karting & Games – AIKG can get you on the track for your winning management career! Andretti Indoor Karting & Games (AIKG) is a rapidly growing Family Entertainment company. AIKG locations feature high-speed, high-tech indoor Karting on multilevel tracks, multi-player immersive Virtual Reality Simulators, Arcade fun, and amazing restaurants & event spaces featuring scratch cocktails and culinary creations crafted in our kitchens.    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead and inspire department teams with integrity, accountability, and a focus on legendary guest service Oversee daily operations including staffing, training, scheduling, cleanliness, repair and maintenance, and safety Own and manage a core department (e.g., The Starting Line, Arcade, Events, F&B) while supporting the overall facility Empower and develop hourly staff through clear communication, coaching, and performance feedback Monitor and manage labor costs, inventory, and cash control in alignment with company goals Partner with the Sales and Events Teams to ensure successful planning and execution of group events Maintain a clean, organized, and guest-ready facility that meets brand standards Uphold safety and sanitation protocols while ensuring health code compliance Foster a motivated and positive work environment aligned with AIKG values and culture Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes, service, and team performance Always support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games Motto “Striving for Perfection: Achieving Excellence.” QUALIFICATIONS Required: Eligible to work in the U.S. At least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, and leadership skills Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Energetic and guest-focused with a commitment to operational excellence Preferred: 2+ years of management experience in high-volume entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant settings Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results Experience with scheduling, cost control, and employee development and training Benefits: Salary from $55,000 - $65,000 Exciting Bonus opportunities paid quarterly, up to $6,000 per year AIKG has the BEST staff, so managers work with and lead motivated professionals!
