Complete all duties of attending physician as outlined in the Medical Staff BylawsCoordinate all specialty consultations and resource utilizationDischarge patients in a timely mannerAt time of discharge/transfer will complete Discharge Instructions and medication reconciliationDictate DC Summary at time of discharge and indicate copy to be sent to family doctor and all specialists following patient during stayParticipate in QI and RM and UM as reasonably requestedRespond to Hospital codes as Lead Physician as requestedParticipate as a back-up member of Rapid Response Team when Cooper Intensivists are not scheduled to be on the Rapid Response TeamPerform emergent intubations as neededPerform emergent central lines as neededComplete Medical Records in a timely fashionAdhere to Medical Staff Bylaws and Hospital Rules and Regulations and policiesPerform other life/limb saving procedures as may from time to time be necessaryMake best effort to ensure compliance with all Core Measure quality indicators for patients under their carePerform the duties as mutually agreedParticipate in teaching programComply with the requirements of the voluntary teaching facultyRespond to PRN calls for evaluation/ordersComplete miscellaneous procedures e.g. (ACLS, initial EKG interpretations, radiologic interpretations, urinary catheter insertion, ABGs, etc.) as requested/necessary; (House Physician only)Pronounce patient deadOrder and renew restraintsObtain consent for autopsy, organ/tissue donation, transfusion, DNR, withdrawal of care, and any other consent forms as needed
