Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Professional - Unarmed. The Security Professional will conduct unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrol (interior and/or exterior) in a hospital environment. Additional duties include control access and egress; monitor CCTV and alarm systems; compose reports; deter criminal activity and misconduct. Due to the safety sensitive nature of this role, qualified candidates must be able to submit to drug screening to the extent permissible by law. This assignment is in a healthcare facility. As such, a tuberculosis (TB) test and certain vaccinations may be required.

Pay Rate: $19.45 / HourFull Time PositionMust be at least 21 yrs of age or OlderOne year security experience requiredMust have Valid Driver's License with clean driving recordShifts: Saturday & Sunday 6PM - 6AM, Monday & Tuesday 10PM - 6AM

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the facility Support patient safety through rounds, incident response, and de-escalationAssistclinical teams during emergencies and high-stress situations Provide visitor screening, access control, and customer serviceassistance Completeaccurateincident documentationParticipatein physical restraints as trained and assist with deceased-patient transfers Uphold hospital safety protocols, patient dignity, and professionalism

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

High school diploma/GED from an accredited school At least 2 years of verifiable work history Ability to pass a federal 10-panel drug test Willing to undergo TB bloodwork and vaccination review Professional appearance: no facial piercings, no facial or neck tattoos, natural hair color Ability to remain calm, confident, and reliable in stressful situationsStrong communicationand customer service skills Ability to stand/walk forlong periodsand respond quickly when needed

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

Service in Military Occupational Specialty related to law enforcement, security (such as Military Police, Elite Military Forces, combat arms) or any support role in a Combat ZoneGraduate of a Certified Public Safety Academy (military or civilian) or verified work experience in the law enforcement, adult corrections, or firefighter fieldBachelor’s degree in law enforcement or criminal justice related studiesA minimum of 8 or more years of service in any military branchAssociate’s degree (or 60 credits) or higher in law enforcement or criminal justice with current or prior active military service
