Job Summary and Responsibilities

Glendale Memorial Hospital & Health is seeking a highly skilled, approachable, and proactive Hospital Operator for the primary point of contact role in a high-volume, fast-paced hospital environment. This critical position manages all incoming communication, from patient inquiries to staff requests, requiring a blend of emotional intelligence, professional efficiency, and quick critical thinking.

The successful candidate must maintain a pleasant, empathetic, and professional demeanor, particularly in stressful situations.The core objectives are to ensure an overwhelmingly positive initial experience for patients and visitors, and to act as the central facilitator for the smooth, accurate, and timely flow of information between all parties (patients, families, clinical, and administrative teams).This role is instrumental in upholding the hospital’s commitment to excellent patient care and operational clarity.
Job Requirements

Three to six months hospital PBX, or other business PBX experience, or telephone company required.

Preferred

Three months to one year of hospital PBX, other business PBX experience, or telephone company.Where You'll Work
