Hospice Registered Nurse

We are hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to join our dynamic care team at Hospice of Western & Central Massachusetts in Berkshire County!
This is an on-the-road position with weekly pay.

You plan, organize, and direct hospice care to our patients across the region and direct services to meet the needs of the patients and their families/caregivers.
Education & Experience:
+ Must hold an active and unencumbered RN license in the state.
+ Hospice, home care, or acute care experience preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Completes an initial, comprehensive, and ongoing assessment of patient and family to determine hospice needs.
+ Assess and evaluate patient status.
+ Completes, maintains, and submits accurate and relevant clinical notes regarding patient's condition and care given.
+ Communicate with the physician regarding patient needs and report changes in conditions.
+ Supervise ancillary personnel.
+ Develop care plans that establish goals, based on nursing diagnosis, and incorporate palliative nursing actions.
+ Work in cooperation with the family/caregiver and hospice interdisciplinary team to meet the emotional needs of the patient and family/caregiver.
+ Ensure equipment and other necessary services are available.
Specific Requirements:
+ Must be willing to travel.
+ Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile in working order.
