About the position:

The Hospice QCC actively monitors Hospice agencies for quality improvement and clinical compliance program goals. Performs on site mock surveys for each provider to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations as well as ACHC standards as applicable to assist preparing for their tri-annual survey. Provides ongoing clinical record review and assists agencies with their Quality Assessment Performance Improvement program (QAPI) and presentation to the Corporate QAPI committee and Governing Body. Also assists agencies in responding to additional documentation requests (ADRs) and any other clinical audits.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in nursing and at least 5 years of experience in Hospice Compliance, OR equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered Nurse Licensed in the State of Employment. Demonstrates clinical auditing and monitoring experience, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability. Ability to successfully communicate and present various information telephonically, via webmeetings, or face-to-face as needed. Well versed with federal regulations, including the ability to review and interpret state laws and their practical application Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
