Overview

Office Location:  Russellville, AR 
Coverage area:  Yell and Pope Counties 

Schedule:   Monday -Friday 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

  

Hospice Home Care is seeking a compassionate, grounded, and spiritually-sensitive Chaplain in Russellville, AR. Our Chaplains provide emotional and spiritual support to patients and families during end-of-life care. This role is an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, offering a nonjudgmental presence and care that honors the beliefs, values, and cultural backgrounds of those we serve. Responsibilities

  

As a Chaplain You will:   

Conduct and ensure timely spiritual assessments for patients and families Participate in developing individualized care plans to address spiritual needs Provides direct spiritual support to patients, families, and caregivers Serves as a liaison to community chaplains and spiritual counselors Maintains accurate documentation of spiritual services and communications Attends interdisciplinary meetings and contributes to care planning Offers education and spiritual care guidance to the care team Recruits and supports community chaplains, spiritual counselors, and volunteers Coordinates and leads memorial or funeral services as requested Organizes periodic memorials for staff, volunteers, and community partners Assists in supervising spiritual care volunteers  Qualifications Graduate of an accredited theology or chaplaincy program (BD, MDiv or equivalent theological degree) Experience working with death and dying, hospice experience preferred Comfort in an interfaith setting Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state or organization requirements and is in good working order  Ability to accept different lifestyles, cultures, beliefs and values Knowledge of and commitment to hospice philosophy of care Ability to work as member of interdisciplinary group Ability to network with community clergy and congregations  About our Line of Business Hospice Home Care, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, focuses on providing hospice care to local patients and their families.
