All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift** : **Location:** **The role you'll contribute:** The Physical Therapist Assistant implements the treatment plan developed and supervised by the Physical Therapist in a professional manner and within department standards, adhering to the corporate compliance plan and all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, and federal agencies, and accrediting bodies. **The value you'll bring to the team:** + Provides treatment to relieve pain and to develop or restore function as ordered on Plan of Care. + Provides accurate documentation. + Teaches use of assistive devices and equipment to patients and caregivers. + Observes, records and reports to physician any untoward reactions to treatment. + Instructs and supervises family members to provide continuous therapy and home treatment plan. + Maintains open communication with case manager. **The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications:** + Associatesdegree in Physical Therapy Assistant + Physical Therapy Assistant (LPTA) + Valid in state Drivers License with current car insurance + Active American Heart Association BLS **Preferred qualifications:** + 1 year experience as a PTA in HomeHealth This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
