BENEFITS + Generous Amount of PTO + Paid Holidays + Health + Dental + Vision + Life Insurance + Disability + 401(k) + ...and more POSITION SUMMARY Our Intake Specialist's primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Review Cases for Wound Updates + Enter All Update and Notes in the KanTime Database + Enter Authorizations and Schedules in System + Obtain Re-authorizations for Additional Homecare Services + Follow-up on Requests From the PCP for Services + Contact and Receive Authorizations from Insurance Company + Contact Clinicians (PT's, OT's, ST's) to Schedule Services + Request Home Health Orders From PCP's, Hospitals, and Specialist + Review Charts for Procedural Accuracy and Efficiency + Receive and Forward Faxes to Correct Departments + Confirm Patient's PCP's + Assist Patient's with Any Questions, Comments, or Concerns + Develop Good Working Relationships with PCP Staff and Insurance Companies KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED + Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) + Bilingual (Spanish) is a great plus + Outstanding Customer Service Skills + Doctor Office Administrative Experience (Minimum 2-3 year) For any questions or any additional information, please do not hesitate to reach out to Ashley via email or phone.
