Assisting Hands Home Care, a leader for In-Home Care services is looking for a CNA with 2 years minimum professional home care or personal care experience to join our team. This person conducts home visits to ensure that clients’ needs are being met and requested services are being delivered appropriately by caregivers. This person provides training and feedback of caregivers. This person serves as back-up caregiver as needed, and provides weekend and after-hour on-call support. This person will be involved in scheduling shifts by matching clients with caregivers. Experience using AxisCare is a plus!
Reports To: Manager/Administrator
Primary Duties:
Conducts in office caregiver training and orientations as directed. Conducts caregiver training on the job as needed. Responsible for ensuring that the required supervisory visit schedule is followed and up to date. Completes on-site evaluations of caregivers and documents the quality of the personal care services provided in the client’s place of residence at minimum every six months. Provides hands-on care giving as needed including all duties required by caregivers. Serves as the point of contact for clients, caregivers and case managers. Matches appropriate caregivers to cases based on personality, availability, and skill set. Communicate regularly with caregivers and clients regarding schedule changes and issues. Make sure that all shifts are covered and arrange for substitute/back-up coverage as necessary. Handles/resolves caregiver issues, problems and scheduling changes. Assists in the office which includes answering phones, client/caregiver scheduling and other duties as directed. Provides information about services to prospective clients as needed. Responsible for verifying daily authorization of services. Counsel caregivers regarding attendance or performance issues. Provides on-call emergency coverage after hours and weekends as needed. Participate in occasional marketing activities such as health fairs, conference exhibits, etc. Other duties as assigned by the office manager or administrator.
Hours: Full time. Hours are flexible.

Compensation: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
