Job Description

Assist with running the Spa in a smooth, professional manner by providing guests with excellent customer service at all times and ensuring that treatments are correctly and appropriately booked. Maximizing spa revenue through yield management, retail sales, re-booking guests, high therapist and room occupancy, and efficient bookings. Providing guests with excellent knowledge of all spa and retail products. Ensuring that the guest’s experience at the Spa is memorable from beginning to end.

To effectively follow LQA standard.To conduct one-to-one consultations with guests, use your skills and knowledge to treat a wide range of health problems.To conduct a thorough consultation, make a diagnosis and devise a personalised treatment plan.Knowledge in a variety of holistic health therapies (i.e. Acupuncture, herbal medicine, Reiki, sound healing, physiotherapy etc.)Able to perform consistent professional treatments and therapy as per the SOP.To treat by inserting fine needles into the skin at particular locations to stimulate the energy flow along meridians (energy channels) and the body's own healing response.To incorporate other treatments, such as moxibustion (burning herbs to warm insertion points), electro-acupuncture (stimulating insertion points with small electric currents), acupressure (to loosen and relax muscles), and cupping.To assess guest progress through questioning and examination, as well as, reviewing treatment plans if necessary.Actively organise and promote your practice within the Spa and Wellness Center and around the resort.To conduct workshops if needed regarding treatment offered, holistic therapy and wellness.To effectively suggest alternatives to guests if their first requests cannot be met.To be well informed and educated in all aspects of Spa facilities, policies, and procedures.To proactively meet and greet guests in various location of the resorts, making a full effort to engage and explain your role and how they can benefit from the services offered.Evaluates behavioral and emotional needs of clients.As a specialized member of the Spa team, you will be responsible for guiding guests through invigorating and encouraging Holistic practices.  Promote a true mind/body balance through your effective teaching style and utilize your persuasive sales ability to bring the art of health and wellness into the lives of others.Provide create idea or strategy of promotion to generate maximum revenue.Understands the impact of department’s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and managing to achieve or exceed budgeted goals.Support teamwork within the Spa. Help other therapists whenever possible - advocate teamwork.

 

QualificationsHigh School DiplomaMinimum 5 years' experience in Hospitality Industry preferably in a 5 star luxury resort.Fluent in spoken English.Flexible and friendly personality.Familiar with Spa Software operation and Micros.
