What you’ll do

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our Luxembourg-based team at Vodafone Investments Luxembourg (VIL). This role is pivotal in managing the financial operations of Vodafone’s holding and financing entities in Luxembourg. It offers a unique opportunity to contribute to group-level projects while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic financial oversight across multiple domains including accounting, reporting, tax, and stakeholder engagement.

 

You will lead and manage all finance and accounting operations for Vodafone’s Luxembourg holding companies, ensuring robust controls and accurate reconciliations. You will supervise the P2P and ICO recharge processes, support internal and external audits, and act as the primary contact for auditors and Group Finance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing internal and external reporting, preparing management accounts, reviewing covenant processes, and managing cash flow and statutory filings. You will also coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities, liaise with the Luxembourg Central Bank, and ensure compliance with SOX controls. In addition, you will handle tax reporting and compliance, including NWT provisions, tax variance analysis, and both internal and external tax submissions. Your role will also involve contributing to transfer pricing discussions and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders across Shared Service Centres and Group functions.
