4 Year Degree Waldorf University (NAIA) in Forest City, Iowa, seeks applicants for a Graduate Assistant in the Hockey program. The Graduate Assistant appointment includes an online graduate tuition waiver over 12 consecutive online academic terms and an annual monetary stipend equivalent to $10,350 paid over the course of 9mo in two academic years. An anticipated work/stipend schedule will be determined based on start date which typically follows the academic calendar periods between August/Sept and April/May. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, assisting in monitor the academic progress of student athletes, overseeing weight training and conditioning sessions, performing individual skill development workouts, conducting film exchange, onsite coaching duties, learning and involvement in all phases of the recruiting process, and other duties as assigned by the head coach.
