 What You will Do:

Configure Mark VIe Control server VMs. Installation of Cimplicity HMI software and Historian (OSI-Pi or Proficy)Create/Modify Network Topology drawing for Controllers, HMIs, Network equipment using Visio tool. Knowledge on configuration of Network Switches (Cisco), Firewalls (Fortinet), Routers.Understands VMware and Virtual Machine concepts, has worked on thin client configuration solutions (both windows & linux)Knowledge on RDP protocols on windows machines.Provide technical support to software engineers in meeting customer needs on HMI applicationsDesign, implement and support communication networks for control system applicationsKnowledge of various communication protocols (OPC, Modbus, TCP/IP, DNP3, Profibus..etc)Provide system design engineering as required to facilitate the ordering, engineering, installation (construction) design and commissioning of third party control systems and industrial networksSupport Engineering Services field personnel in technical resolution of field problemsHandle multiple projects / activitiesBe accountable for on-time schedule performance, project milestones, customer deliverables, and compliance with regulations and standardsProvide assistance with quality assurance on projectsReview and interpret customer specifications.Perform hardware selection of system control components for HMI solutions

 

Additional Desired Characteristics

Demonstrated aptitude skills and experience working with industrial network communication protocols such as OPC, Modbus, TCP/IP, ProfiBus.Any experience with Triangle Microworks (TMW) software.Strong background in HMI application software including Proficy CIMPLICITY, Historian based productsDemonstrated experience working in the industrial controls or power generation industryStrong computer skills: experience setting up Windows based applications including Windows XP, Windows 2000 and Windows 7, Windows2012, Windows2016 and Windows2019 and proficiency in standard MS Office applicationsExperience with virtual computing platformsTechnical skills in engineering design and construction practicesProven team player with solid cooperation, flexibility and demonstrated capacity to learn complex information quicklyHands-on experience programming GE Speedtronic series turbine control and Cimplicity HMI softwareField experience in related equipment

 

What You Will Bring:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college with 1 to 3 years of Industry experience.US Citizen or Green Card required. 

 

Pay Range:  $70K to $100K

Compensation decisions are made based on factors including experience, skills, education, and other job-related factors, in accordance with our internal pay structure. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan.

 

Work Requirements:

The work location is Greenville, SC.

You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.  Shop floor environment, which may include but not limited to extensive walking, and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. 

 

Travel requirements: Up to 5% of travel is required.

Citizenship requirement: Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship or Green card is required.

Work Experience
