Job Description

Position Summary:

Fabricate parts to conform to blueprints/drawings

Duties and responsibilities:

Prioritize work load per due date of product per machine in cellRetrieve documentation from computer for specific job for each machine in the cellPerform stability study of gauges usedCheck process revisions using Q-pulseCheck print revisions and program revisionsSelect tools needed for each jobBuild, measure and load toolsLoad and edit programSetup pallet jaws into correct positionLoad (and unload) parts for each machineOperate HMC machinesRun first piece and check for accuracyTroubleshoot machining issuesMeasure and check parts against blueprint/drawingPack finished product and bring to secondary operationsMaintain a clean work environmentComply with all safety and sanitation regulationsUse all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructedPerform other duties as assigned by manager

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:

Lift and move up to 40 pounds without assistanceAble to stand for long periods of timeAbility to load/unload machines (requires repetitive lifting and bending)

Work Environment:

Some of the work time is spent in a manufacturing environment where temperatures are often warm or cool, depending upon the season, and noise level can be moderate to high

QualificationsMinimum 2+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environmentBasic computer and math skillsComfort level working around machinery in a fast-paced environmentBasic knowledge of measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, etc.Basic tool knowledgeAbility to follow written and verbal instructions given in EnglishAbility to read blueprintsMust be able to meet quality and productivity standardsAbility to stay on task for long periods of timeStrong attention to detailAbility to be at workstation on time, every day unless otherwise authorized

Salary and Benefits

The hourly range for this full-time position is $23.51- $30.00/hour. Within the range, individual payrate is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. The Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range during the interview process.
