What You’ll DoPerform and interpret complex histology tests on human tissue samples.Ensure accuracy and reliability by reviewing and verifying lab findings.Support clinical studies and research projects with expert-level lab work.Train and mentor lab staff on equipment use, maintenance, and procedures.Develop and refine testing methodologies to improve lab efficiency.Lead quality assurance efforts to maintain high standards of performance.What We’re Looking ForASCP certification (HT or HTL required)– this is essential for consideration.Strong experience in histology techniques including staining, grossing, cutting, and embedding.Ability to handle complex specimens such as colon resections, lumpectomies, thyroid lobectomies, and amputations.Proven leadership and mentoring skills in a lab setting.Work EnvironmentLab-based role with a standard shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PMTraining hours may vary: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PMCollaborative and quality-driven team culture.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
