Job Title: Histology Technician Location: Bothell, WA Hours/Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 am to 5 pm Type: Contract Compensation: $35-$42.20/hr Overview The Histology Technician will support spatial biology research focused on antibody-based therapeutic targets. This role contributes hands-on histology expertise to a collaborative lab environment, supporting multiple projects through sample processing and immunohistochemistry execution. Responsibilities + Process biological samples for downstream histological and spatial biology analyses. + Perform immunohistochemistry (IHC) experiments using automated staining platforms. + Conduct routine histology laboratory maintenance and upkeep. + Maintain, organize, and catalog biospecimen inventories and repositories. + Document experiments and sample data using a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). + Collaborate with scientists across multiple projects to support research objectives. Qualifications + BS or BA in a biological science or related field. + 1–2+ years of laboratory experience in a research or histology setting. + Hands-on experience with histopathology techniques. + Experience with tissue processing, embedding, and sectioning; preference for certified Histology Technicians (HT). + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. + Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional research environment. + Willingness and aptitude to learn new techniques, tools, and technologies.
